I went grocery shopping at Woolworths today after class! One of the brand new experiences i have gained ever since i came here is definitely grocery shopping alone! I seldom do that in Singapore unless buying food for BBQ? I even came up with a list of groceries to buy, especially to prepare for this week’s lunches! After which, i waited for Ron at the food court as he was going to pick me up from the mall. I was sitting beside this group of ill-mannered middle school girls with their school uniforms on. They were like ranting and spouting vulgarities and shouting across to another table which is about 7 metres away. And i heard some really dumb discussions about whether China is a continent or not. One of the girl kept insisting that China is a continent and another smarter one claimed that China is a country in Asia continent. Well, anyways thankfully Ron came in time so i could leave the food court as soon as possible! He drove to the train station to pick his 2 Japanese friends who just reached Brisbane to visit them. We had dinner together at home. Stir fry curry beef with rice! *yummy, they offered me wine but i declined it. hoho*
