Car Wash!

We had our gloves on and got 3 pails of water ready! Yayhoo! It was my first time washing a car. It was exciting!

This is not a car-wash business that I’ve set up nor a part time job that I am holding. I am just helping Shannen to wash her ‘小红’! If not it would have costed her A$50 to get it washed. Gee. (:

yays(: it’s late night shopping tomorrow.Shops at the mall will close at 9.30pm! Woohoo! Gonna get some gifts and stuffs that I need, dinner with housemates and watching ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ with housemates! It’s going to be my very FIRST movie at the theatres in Brisbane! How exciting! I always watch movies in Singapore, just didn’t watch in Brisbane before. hah! *habit of renting DVDs to watch in Brissy*

The TV channels here are just not to my liking, so thanks to Shannen to her heaps of DVDs. Currently, I am watching ‘Love Bread’, though I don’t really fancy watching Taiwan drama, it’s good currently to feed my deprivation! (:

1)let your boyfriend foot the bill?

I belong to the 3rd category! This reminds me of my conversation with chad and kel. And they asked what if my boyfriend comes from a rich family? Will I want him to foot the bill? My answer to that is I’ll just pay the best that I can and let him settle the rest.

I think different girls just have different characters. But no matter what if you love the girl, you should just accept the way that she is like. If she expects you to foot the bill, you better do so unless you can’t afford it, that’s a different story entirely.

Family Culture plays an important role in shaping one’s spending habits. Some of us have more while others have less. Over the years, God has taught me to be a wise steward of His money. And if you are wise, you won’t compare, that’ll only make you more miserable. It’s amazing how God has provided my expenses to study overseas. I am really convicted to be very wise in managing my finances as I know it’s really God’s provision. It’s not that I don’t go shopping, it’s not that I don’t like shopping, but I’ve learnt to manage with what I have wisely.

yay(: 5 days have passed! and the clock is ticking faster than ever i feel! I foresee the next 9 months will be fun because so far, I enjoyed myself very much as compared to the previous year when I was in Brisbane. For the past five days that I was here, I have been to the Indooroopilly mall every single day without fail because it’s just a stone’s throw away. Imagine staying next to VivoCity. Cool huh.

School’s been good(: I enjoy the modules that I am currently taking! And I am picking up a 3rd language- Bahasa Indonesia! I really enjoy the lessons(: And from next week onwards, my schedule will be more packed as there are both tutorials and lectures.

I shall head to the bookstore to buy textbooks tomorrow, meet a friend and to the mall again.

Day 2

Went to school. Had lunch with Shannen. Then back to school. Shop for necessities. Fixed up a new fan. Fixed up my room’s curtain. Unpack and organise stuffs. Did laundry. It was a pretty busy day but all is good (: Please pray that my cough will get better! Thanks! ((:

1st day

Hereby want to specially thank those who made that extra effort to come down to Changi Airport to send me off. They are Daniel, JX, Carol, Luis, ShiHui, Karmen, Jiahui and Kenny! You guys really make good friends ((: Thanks to those who send your regards too. (:

It was kind of a rushing madness last night while rushing through the departure lounge after we’ve been through the customs as Shannen and my name was announced because we were both very late! It was real madness especially when the hand carry luggage was extremely heavy and coincidentally while rushing through the lounge, i saw my ZS MengChin. hah! All was good on the plane except the food and didn’t manage to catch a rest on the plane. awww.

Extremely tired but I was determined to unpack my luggage and the many many stuffs lying around the living room. It was hard work especially with the super hot weather!

I am flying off to Brisbane with Shannen tonight! I know it’s kind of late as school starts TOMORROW, but I won’t miss any class tomorrow anyway! I can still make it in time for the 4pm lecture! YAYS (:

I will try to LOOK FORWARD to school Going to miss everything in Singapore. EVERYTHING..erm except the weather? If you have a sudden craving for a bowl of Hot TomYum Soup, there’s one at anchorpoint foodcourt ‘Viet’ Stall that sells slurpylicious TomYum or head down to Thai Noodle House next to Coronation Plaza! It’s really shiokshiok TomYum. Trust me (: Kay, shall update soon!
