Happy Easter (:
April 12, 2009
Inside all of us is a love bank with accounts in the name of everyone we know. So, when these people are associated with our good feelings, “love units” are deposited into their accounts, and when they are associated with our bad feelings, “love units” are withdrawn. We, as humans are emotionally attracted to people with positive balances, and we like to be with these group of people. And we tend to feel repulsed by those with negative balances.
Someone has withdrawn so much “love units” from her account in me that naturally, I tend to try to stay away from her. I mean who likes to be with someone whom you associate with one of the worst experiences with? Those inconsiderate words and acts have withdrawn heaps of “love units”, not that I would love it to drop, but it just happened. I am not perfect, I still do struggle with relationships with people, but i really don’t like this feeling. Everytime I feel this way, God reminded me that He must increase and I must decrease. He can turn every negative love bank account balances to one which is positive, not by my work nor my own righteousness, but God is the one who empowers me to do so. The Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead two thousand years ago at Calvary is the same one that dwells within me. Yeap, so all is good and will be good (: Happy Easter everyone! (:
*PS: I almost ate a worm yesterday. After watching CHC online service, I asked Ivan for some chocolates. A normal person will usually not double check a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate bar right? I just took a small block of chocolate out of the huge bar of Cadbury Chocolate and when I was just about to put in my mouth (only a mere 3 cm away from my mouth), just then I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to check the chocolate! And then I SCREAMED! there was a worm wiggling out of that small block of chocolate. TRAUMATISED, and I threw it right away at the dustbin in front of me! At that moment while in a state of shock (with eyes wide open and eyeballs seemingly going to pop out anytime soon), Ivan thought I saw a ghost -_- Anyways, we then opened the whole chocolate wrapping and we discovered…

wormy chocolate

expiry date: 16.11.09
yep. There were several worms in the chocolate, we didn’t dissect it, if not I think there’ll be more worms! ewwww. No more cadbury chocolate for me!
